Entity

Company

Craton Constructors performs building construction for public agencies in Idaho.

Etymology

The name.

A craton is the ancient crystalline core of a continent — rock two to three billion years old that has resisted every mountain-building event, rifting, and collision since the Archean.

Continents grow by welding younger material onto its edges. The craton itself does not move. The western margin of the North American craton runs through Idaho.

Structure

Standing.

Craton Constructors LLC is a standalone entity. It does not hold, share, or borrow another company’s licensing, registration, insurance, bonding, or past performance, and it does not present another company’s credentials as its own.

Work performed by a separate entity under common management appears on the Experience page as relevant, management, or technical experience, with the performing entity named in each item. It is not presented as Craton past performance, and this site publishes no past performance until Craton has completed public works under contract.

Credentials appear on the Qualifications page as they are issued, each with the issuing authority named so an agency can verify it at the source.

Credential status, issuing authorities, and the documents a buyer can request are listed on the Qualifications page.
